To bring the delicate issue of disclosing sensitive data while browsing online to the attention of young users and provide tools for their protection.
Students will take part in a gamification scenario. They will move on a virtual carpet and every move will open ‘security windows’. Each window will propose different options for protecting their data (e.g. Cookies) or the most appropriate ways of interacting online according to digital etiquette (e.g. capitalising words). Every choice will go towards their total score, which will reveal everyone’s degree of awareness of cyber security at the end of the experience.
