E-textile: my first wearable

Aim

We are surrounded all the more by smart objects. But how do you design and implement interactive products? We will find out during the E-textile workshop: my first wearable! 

Activities

Starting with fabric, conductive and resistive material, crocodiles and a microcontroller, we will make a design that, thanks to the rules of electronics, grants us human-machine interaction. During the workshop you will make a textile pressure sensor that, with simple Lilypad programming and the right number of crocodiles*, will enable you to activate a light! 
*no crocodile will be harmed! :D

How to take part

Children under the age of 14 will only be allowed access if accompanied by a responsible adult after signing a responsibility form which is available at the ticket office.

Free tickets must be booked and this can be done online, subject to availability; they are required for both participants and chaperones.
