Forget ‘intuition’-based decisions. Evidence-Based Decision Making (EBDM) is the revolutionary approach that uses hard data to guide strategic choices in public administration. In this workshop, you will discover how data analysis can support informed and responsible decision-making, improving public policy impact and citizen satisfaction.

We will look at practical examples such as simulating the impact of political decisions and analysing the efficiency of public services. We will also examine the future prospects of data analysis in the public sector, particularly the use of advanced techniques such as machine learning and the potential offered by big data.
